Instructional coaches and leaders will distinguish between supporting teachers' varying levels of skill and will. They learn the different adult “willingness levels” their teachers are on as diverse learners and identify strategies that would support those various levels. In addition, coaches walk away with a "Strategies Toolbox" to be able to impact and breakthrough various forms of resistance. Leaders learn skills that give them a sense of agency in their own ability to impact all teachers, no matter their willingness to embrace challenge and change.

Explore TNTP's most recent national research report that outlines trajectory changing practices schools take to consistently catch kids up that are behind in their learning. Along with a brief overview of the research, participants will walk away with action guides for teachers, parents, coaches, and leaders to support the adoption of these trajectory changing practices!

Participants will engage with group coaching framework designed to foster growth and instructional improvement. This multi-session plan guides teachers through key phases: crafting a shared values statement, assessing their current classroom practices, exploring research-based strategies to enhance teaching and learning, and developing an instructional goal that directly measures the impact on student achievement.

Perhaps teachers exhibit resistance towards us when there is change, but it could potentially be our fault! During this session, participants will explore the underlying triggers of resistance and strategies to diminish its impact. Discover practical approaches for managing complex change, ensuring you can navigate these challenges with confidence and insight.
