This session explores how literacy coaches and school administrators can foster collaboration and build relationships to meet the Virginia Literacy Act's requirements. Attendees will learn strategies for advocating the literacy specialist/coach’s role, improving data literacy and progress monitoring, developing supportive professional learning, and enhancing strategic literacy plans. Participants will leave with actionable tools to enhance literacy instruction, monitor student progress, foster teacher development, and effective school-wide initiatives.
