In this session, you will learn how we support our teachers through collaboration between our instructional coach, technology coach, and administrators. We will take time to discuss the possible partnerships that you can facilitate in your school. You will leave with techniques and ideas for collaborating with other instructional leaders in their schools to support teachers through coaching cycles, personalized PD, and more.

This presentation will outline how RCPS Literacy Coaches have implemented and communicated the Virginia Literacy Act (VLA) over the past four years. Instructional coaches will learn successful practices, including strategies for collaboration meetings, data analysis, and student reading plan discussions. The session will provide resources and foster discussions on collaboration approaches. Instructional coaches and school leaders will leave with practical tools for enhancing literacy practices and navigating the VLA’s requirements across various stakeholders.
